Social Band's Vermont Composers Project "...is a complete delight: ...glorious, witty choral works that are often complex, sometimes quirky, yet always accessible and fun."  --Tom Slayton, VPR Commentator / Editor, Vermont Life Magazine

"For a community chorus to perform contemporary music is a challenge, but to perform a program made up entirely of new music - and to do it well - is nothing short of amazing. But, that's just what Social Band did with its Vermont Composers Project...."

--Jim Lowe, Barre-Montpelier Times Argus

"Social Band has made a major achievement with this series of commissions, and they may have impacted choral singing in Vermont for some time to come."  Dan Wolfe, Vermont Times

Burlington's lively band of singers presented a program selected from newly commissioned works by 25 diverse Vermont composers to enthusiastic audiences in April. Now the program tours around Vermont from May through October of this year. Don't miss it, and pass the word to all your friends and relatives around our tour stops!
