2008 Preservation
Retreats
at the
Grand Isle Lake House
The
Preservation Trust of Vermont is hosting a series of 2-day
retreats at the Grand Isle Lake House.
Lake House Retreats are for groups who are undertaking
historic preservation or community development projects.
The
Lake
House
is the perfect venue for sharing ideas and challenges, funding
opportunities, and technical assistance resources.
Each participating group will be asked to present a ten minute
case study describing their project and framing a problem for
group discussion. Typically
6-7 groups of 2-4 people attend each retreat along with resource
people from various agencies or organizations.

Creative Communities, Arts, and Industrial Heritage

Community Development and Historic Preservation
Cost including dinner, overnight, breakfast and lunch is $50/ per
person for a shared room, $75 for a single (first come basis).
Space is limited, so reservations should be made as early
as possible to assure accommodation.
Deadline is two weeks before each retreat.
For reservations, please send a check along with the name,
organization, address, phone, e-mail, and special need or diet
consideration for each attendee.
On the check, please indicate Retreat date.

is 2:30. The meeting
begins at 3:00 and finishes by 2:00 the following afternoon.
