CUBE's web site includes membership information, a catalog of available curricula, listings of upcoming workshops, and its newsletter.

SMART GROWTH SUGGESTED RESOURCES

http://www.vtsprawl.org/Initiatives/sgcollaborative/VSGC_main.htm
Vermont Smart Growth Collaborative.  Nine Vermont organizations have joined together to launch a collaborative effort to advance policy, education, and community strategies to reduce sprawl and achieve Smart Growth in Vermont. The Collaborative will build upon each organization's individual expertise to develop a strategic and coordinated effort that will achieve significantly greater success collectively than any single partner could achieve alone. The Collaborative's efforts will not only strengthen each partner's existing work, but will result in new projects using each partner's unique skills that will enhance Smart Growth efforts throughout Vermont and beyond.

http://www.epa.gov/region5/sprawl/index.html: "While Federal agencies are not the appropriate venue for local land-use decisions, these organizations can provide assistance in the forms of grant funds, data and information, and technical assistance to communities interested in more sustainable urban development alternatives." The contacts are organized by environmental and metropolitan issues, and each issue page contains a list of related Federal programs and regional agency contacts (although Region 5 contacts are listed, links are to national web sites).

http://www.vtsprawl.org/: Though the site is focused on Vermont, much of the information is applicable on a broader bases ("Additional Resources," "FAQ," etc.). The "Bulletin Board" is a collection of articles and editorials on sprawl from Vermont newspapers.
