Historic Bandstand -- Free to any Town!

Built in 1915, this octagonal bandstand is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing structure to the Norwich Village Historic District.  The Town of Norwich plans to replace it with a larger bandstand and has offered the historic bandstand to any Town that is willing to move it before mid-January, when it is slated for demolition.  Some funding is available to help with the move and needed repairs.  For more information, please contact Ann Cousins 434-5014 or ann@ptvermont.org.

11 Berkshire Center Road
Berkshire VT  05450

This completely restored 1835 property was a former stagecoach stop. Known as the "Phoenix House" this historic landmark has been painstakingly rebuilt with commercial use in mind for the main and lower levels, along with great living quarters on the 2nd floor. The complete rehab retained all the quality details including exposed hand hewed beams, wide pine floors & gun stock corners, yet with all modern amenities.
