About the
Preservation Trust
The Preservation Trust, organized in
1981, is a charitable, nonprofit organization designed to
assist the continuing statewide effort to protect our special
architectural resources. The Trust provides assistance to
other groups and individuals who are involved in historic
preservation, undertakes educational programs, holds easements
on individual properties, and accepts gifts of property.
How
Can I Help?
Over the Preservation Trust’s 20 year history
many generous people, businesses, and foundations have provided
the financial support that has helped us assist community leaders,
volunteers, and nonprofit organizations in virtually every
community in Vermont. We think this work has made a remarkable
difference, but much more needs to be done....
Board
and Staff
The Preservation Trust is
governed by a Board of Directors and employs five staff people.
