Vermont Downtowns and Wal-Mart
St. Albans
Downtown St. Albans has room to site an 80,000 square foot Wal-Mart. This
solution will benefit downtown, help the local economy, and integrate Wal-Mart
into Vermont's culture and scale. Instead Wal-Mart is proposing to build a
150,000 square foot big box on the edge of town.
