Latchis Hotel
The Brattleboro Arts Initiative, in partnership with the Preservation Trust of
Vermont, purchased the Latchis Memorial Building in 2003. They are now
working to restore the complex as a performing arts venue and downtown hotel as
part of Brattleboro's revitalization efforts. The National Trust for
Historic Preservation helped the project with an Intervention Fund grant from
the Northeast Office and a grant from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for
Historic Interiors.
